1. Introduction

Welcome to The Printing Factory.

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of our products and services. By submitting a quote request, approving artwork, or making payment, you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of Our Products

Printing Factory provides custom-made and made-to-order printed products based on customer specifications.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Artwork and logos
  • Dimensions and sizing
  • Material selection
  • Finishing options
  • Quantity

Because our products are custom-manufactured to your specifications, they cannot be resold to other customers once production begins.

3. Order Process

Our standard order process is as follows:

  1. Customer submits a quote request.
  2. We provide pricing and production details.
  3. A digital artwork proof is issued for review.
  4. Customer provides written approval of the artwork.
  5. Full payment is received.
  6. Production begins.

Orders will not proceed without written artwork approval and full payment confirmation.

4. Artwork Approval & Customer Responsibility

By approving artwork proofs, you confirm that:

  • All spelling, text, layout, colours, and measurements are correct.
  • The design meets your expectations.
  • You have the legal right to use all submitted artwork, logos, and content.

Printing Factory is not responsible for errors identified after written approval has been provided.

If revisions are requested after approval, additional charges and production delays may apply.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are provided in AUD, unless otherwise stated.

We currently accept:

  • Bank transfer via Wise
  • Credit/Debit Card via PayPal

Full payment is required before production begins.

Customers are responsible for any applicable transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or processing fees imposed by their payment provider.

Orders that remain unpaid after 7 days may be cancelled at our discretion.

6. Production & Delivery

Production timeframes are estimates only and begin after:

  • Artwork approval, and
  • Full payment confirmation

Shipping and delivery timelines may vary due to:

  • Courier or freight delays
  • Customs clearance processes
  • International logistics conditions
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Printing Factory is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Refunds, Returns & Consumer Rights

7.1 Custom-Made Products

As our products are custom-made, change-of-mind cancellations are not permitted once production has commenced.

If cancellation is requested before production begins, a refund may be issued minus:

  • Payment processing fees
  • Currency conversion charges
  • Administrative costs

7.2 Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If you are an Australian consumer, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where a product:

  • Has a major failure, or
  • Does not meet acceptable quality standards under the ACL.

A major failure may include circumstances where the product:

  • Is significantly different from the approved artwork or specifications
  • Is unsafe
  • Is substantially unfit for its intended purpose

If a product has a minor issue, we may choose to repair or replace it within a reasonable time.

7.3 Defective or Incorrect Items

To request a remedy, you must:

  • Notify us within 5 days of delivery
  • Provide clear photographic or video evidence
  • Ensure the product has not been used or altered

We are not responsible for:

  • Minor colour variations due to screen display differences
  • Slight size tolerances within industry manufacturing standards
  • Errors that were approved in the final artwork proof

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Printing Factory directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.

Where a chargeback is filed for a properly approved and completed custom order, we reserve the right to:

  • Provide full documentation to the payment processor
  • Recover reasonable administrative and dispute-related costs where permitted by law
  • Refuse future service

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Printing Factory’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses, including loss of profit or interruption.
  • For Australian consumers, liability is limited to remedies permitted under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Intellectual Property

Customers confirm that they hold all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for any submitted artwork or content.

Printing Factory is not liable for copyright, trademark, or intellectual property infringement resulting from customer-supplied designs.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Printing Factory is legally registered.

If you are an Australian consumer, your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and in good faith before formal proceedings are initiated.
